Coaching and Team Coaching Supervision.

Coaching supervision is a place  of reflective and reflexive practice to understand yourself and your work more fully. In supervision you learn to stand back and take a boarder in order to develop yourself and your craft. A space to monitor, regulate and re-tune helps with ethical practice where awareness, boundaries client impact, context and coach wellbeing are in focus.

Coach mentoring is skills based development for coaches who are seeking to reach their next level of progress. It is often targeted to the achievement of a credential or moving past a stuck point. Habits form and glass ceilings appear gradually. If you feel that your coaching needs invigorating or you are seeking to achieve an ICF PCC or MCC credential mentoring will help you rediscover momentum.

What happens in supervision?

Jane's philosophy of supervision is based on a deep interest in professional coaching and a love of learning, adventure and exploration. Her approach is based on KOLB's reflective learning cycle where questions such as What happened? What was it like? and What does it mean? are explored. The number sessions you need will depend on the number of coaching hours you undertake. Like a musical instrument, the more you use it the more often it will need tuning. Once a month is typical with ad hoc contact in between if needed. Group and individual sessions are available.

What happens in mentoring?

Mentoring begins by listening to you coach to understand where you are placed in relation to what you are seeking to achieve. For example if you are seeking to achieve an ICF PCC or MCC credential we assess your coaching against the relevant competency framework. Once we understand the development gap we create a mentoring plan to develop your skillset to meet your objectives. Providing recordings of your coaching with client permission is part of the process. The frequency of sessions will depend on the timeframe within which you are seeking to achieve your goals.

Team coaching and Teaming

Team coaching is a complex advanced practice that can have the most accomplished of coaches questioning themselves. Supervision for team coaches is critical according to the ICF  Team Coaching Competencies . It helps you navigate the strong force fields and dynamics in team systems and understand how this impacts you and how you impact it. Alongside team coaching supervision we can also work together to develop your skillset within agreed team coaching frameworks and approaches. This may involve one on one sessions and/or working together in the field.
